  • Organisation data: Company details, registration documents, and legal information you upload for verification.
  • Board activity data: Resolutions you create, votes you cast, amendments you propose, and documents you generate.
  • Deal data: Business deal proposals, NDA signatures, and escrow transaction records.
  • Payment data: Payment method details processed securely by our payment partners (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Usage data: Log data, device information, IP address, and session activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Boardzer platform
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send OTPs, notifications, and service-related communications
  • Facilitate board resolutions, voting, and document generation
  • Match entrepreneurs with investors using RAG AI (anonymously until you consent to disclosure)
  • Manage business deal escrow transactions
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only:

  • With payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, PayU) to process transactions
  • With cloud storage providers (Cloudflare R2 / AWS S3) to store documents you upload
  • With SMS providers (ClickSend, Fast2SMS, 2factor.in) to deliver OTPs
  • As required by law or in response to valid legal process
  • With your explicit consent (e.g., disclosing your identity to a deal counterparty after NDA)

4. Data Security

We employ bank-grade security measures including end-to-end encryption for sensitive data, role-based access control, and comprehensive audit trails for all board actions. All data is stored on secure servers. We conduct regular security audits.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Board resolutions and signed documents are retained indefinitely as they may constitute legal records. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us at meet@boardzer.com, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
